Privacy policy

What this policy covers
Robotsread is a diagnostic tool that checks whether a search crawler can index a given URL. This policy explains what data is and is not handled when you use the tool.
What we collect
The tool collects nothing. Robotsread does not have user accounts, does not store submitted URLs, does not use cookies for tracking, and does not log personal information. Each check is processed entirely in memory and discarded immediately after the response is sent to your browser.
URL submissions
The URL you submit is sent to the Robotsread API solely for the purpose of fetching that page and its robots.txt file to return a verdict. The URL, the fetched content, and the verdict are not stored on any server. Nothing persists beyond the HTTP request-response cycle.
Server logs
The Cloudflare Worker that runs Robotsread may produce ephemeral logs that include the requested URL and a timestamp. These logs are used exclusively for operational monitoring and are not retained beyond Cloudflare's standard log retention period. The logs contain no personal information about you — no IP addresses are logged at the application level, and Cloudflare's own logging is governed by their privacy policy.
Cookies
Robotsread does not set any cookies. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used.
Third-party services
Robotsread uses Google Fonts to serve the typefaces used on this site. Google's use of data is governed by Google's privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.
Data sharing
Robotsread does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties because no data is collected.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. No separate notification will be sent because no contact information is collected.
